Monday Rundown

  • Jason did a great job yesterday. A very important topic, very well done. I've already recommended the message to several people who weren't there yesterday but who are right in the middle of crap that makes being thankful very difficult. If you didn't hear the message go to the resouce page of the church web site and listen.
  • I had fun serving as a behind the scenes guy at church yesterday. Got to hang out with the cool people on the tech team. By the way, we need more volunteers on this team. Many of you would love making the service happen in this area "out of the flood lights". Believe me there is something any of you can do. Email Bill Coffman and let him know you are interested.
  • Had a very important meeting today figuring out some vital organizational stuff for the future of our church and the Chapter 2 strategy. I'm so pumped up about multi-site and the challenges and opportunities that go with it.
  • We've had our first building delay and we haven't even started. UGGGH
  • Great attendance for a holiday weekend.
  • Yes, the young man leading worship yesterday is my son. In fact two of my sons were on stage yesterday doing music and the other one was the technical director for the video team. Yes, I am proud. They are so far beyond where their dad was at their ages. You woul d not want to know what I was doing at their ages.
  • Taking a few days to go back to Mississippi this week. Looking forward to hanging out on the ranch for a few hours.

Seems how we are talking about baptism on sunday i wanted to share a bible verse with you. I don't know if it will be any help to you, but i just saw it on my bible verse of the day on igoogle. it is

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
