Sunday Night Mind Dump

• I haven't blogged much during the holidays and I'm traveling until Thursday this week. I'm in a hotel with wi-fi tonight so I thought I would "get 'er done."
• I had a lot of fun today with the "10 Most Irritating Things" topic and the spinning wheel. I know some of you in first service could tell I was nerrrrvous. Very different format for me - the control freak. Thanks to Melissa Spencer for being my assistant all three services. We just through the luck of spinning the wheel hit 9 out of 10 of the topics over three services. Once we did that I just chose to do the one that was left at the end of the Noon service.
• If you want to hear all 10 topics you'll have to listen to all three services. The audio is available for download at www.community-christian.net Click on the resource tab. Or you can go to Grand Central next week and ask for all three CDs. You will have to pay there.
• I am really jacked up about the series starting next week - Alternate Endings. Over the last few weeks I have had so many conversations with people that have had unexpected life situations throw them into uncertainty. That's what this series is all about - How to trust God when your life is uncertain. What do you do when your life enters an alternate ending. INVITE SOMEONE TO COME WITH YOU.
• We also have a recurring drama for this series. It also comes with an interactive twist that I think you'll like. If you've only been coming a few months and you haven't been here for one of the recurring dramas you are in for a treat.
• I think next week the final details will be in place for the announcement of the meeting place for the new campus. I can't wait to tell you the story behind it.
