We have a service planned for the last Sunday of 2007 that I think will be unique. At least it will be something we've never done in 17 years at CCC. It involves a big spinning wheel and a shot clock. What the message is going to be that day is "Top 4 things Christians are doing to mess up Christianity." It could wind up being the top 5 things - we'll see. Anyway I've been doing some research and thought you (loyal blog readers) would enjoy what I'm about to share.
Check out the video embedded in the picture below to see more more evidence why the 80% of Americans who don't regularly attend church think Christians are weird.
Highway to heaven?
Closing Note: I am not saying there is anything wrong with praying for God to work in a certain geographic area. I just don't think we have to stretch Bible verses to make that point. When we do, the point we make to a watching world is that Christians are really weird.

Out of all the things in this blog, i wanted to point out a spelling error, hahahahaha. You said "i could wind up being 5 things" and i think you meant "it could wind up being 5 things" lol. Just wanted to catch my first spelling error on you. sorry.
Now to the video
Wow, that is...interesting. I think some people have to much time on there hands to think up something like that. I see where he might be coming from, but i think its just coincidence.
Hey feel free to correct the spelling. There are many of them. I won't take time to fix most of them but that one was so easy I did.
On the other part, it's not just coincidence - it's total fabrication. It's stretching that scripture to say something that is not what it is saying for the sake of making a point that you could easily make without stretching the scripture.
So I-85 leads to hell?
Adam - It depends on whether you go north or south.
