Recently our church was written up on a local "street preacher" blog. They had stopped by the building and taken pictures of our sign with the "scandalous" signs. As you might imagine the blog really ripped us apart. The writer of the blog did inform us of the post through an e-mail. I decided to respond to his e-mail and ask him to meet with me and share with me face to face his concerns. It turns out he is a seminary student in a local "street preacher" seminary. It has been about a two week process of back and forth e-mails but we are finally meeting this Saturday at 10 a.m. Please pray for him and me as we meet. Pray that I will be "quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry." I want to meet beacause I have never had any face to face conversation with anyone who believes as he does. I really believe only good can come from the conversation but I will need your prayer support. By the way, I'm not going to give the address of the blog, I don't want to get into a blogging war or a war of comments on his blog.

Ed, things will go good. What ever this guys has to say, it can either be helpful to you, or you can just ignore it. Either way, you will re act it a good way, your that kind of man!
I agree with Simon. Our family will hold you up in prayer.
How wonderful that this young man has chosen to serve the Lord as a preacher. May he see that we're working for the same God, who wants no one to die without knowing about his son. That includes ordinary people like me who didn't look, live or act like a "church person" when I met Jesus.
I will pray for you Ed. Following you analogy.. speaking as "shark"... I think what you are doing is fabulous and just what is needed for our times.
