Late Sunday Night Mind Dump - long day

  • Just got home after a long day (6:30 a.m. - 9:45 p.m.)  But I had a blast today.  Loved almost every moment.
  • Great kick off to dANGERous.  I really believe what I said today, "Many of us are about to find a way to break the cycle of anger in our families."
  • Went out to Madras Middle School this afternoon and tonight to help with the very first HYPE UNITED.   It was one of the best youth services I have been to in a long time.  The Student Ministry team knocked it out of the park.
  • Animal I Have become - Sunday Morning at CCC - WOW!!
  • The Madras campus team also used tonight as a practice.  They learned a lot and want to improve many thing.  But I have to tell you I would have been pleased if the first service was as good as this one.  They did a great job.  Way to go Bill Coffman.  Also special thanks to Rick Olsen who is leading their setup team.  Great job Rick!
  • Loved meeting many people for the first time today.  Talked to several people who came because of "church for the rest of us."   Continue to pray for the impact of this card.
  • Go ahead and invite someone to come to the second week of dANGERous it's going to be a great series.

630am-945pm wow, that's one long day one day a week.

Thank the volunteers who work 40 plus hours a week at their real job, then come and spend the entire day at church practicing, singing, acting, cleaning, setting up Madras, tearing down, etc. I think some of the staff forgets these people have jobs outside the church.

What do you do on YOUR day off?

You mean all my days off don't you. I only work the one.

I applogize if I've made you fee like I didn't appreciate the hours you put in after your real job. No one knows better than me that we could not do what we do at CCC without vounteers.

Didn't mean to sound whiny. I love my job - who woudn't one day a week.
