Sometimes I just write about what interest me. Here is one - I can hardly wait until Sunday when the new Ken Burns documentary "The War" starts on PBS. I am a huge World War II student and have been watching all the previews that are available. There is a really good one that is about 30 minutes long. I'll give you a shorter one here to give you a taste.

I too am a history buff. I LOVE Ken Burns' work. I watched the Civil War series this summer. I am hoping to tape this one. There was a really cool show about an English fighter pilot whose plane crashed into the ground in London. Recently, some historians dug into the ground, which is now a very busy intersection in London, and found remains from the plane. The pilot was there telling his tory. It was very cool.
